Wait time was short. No weird smells, air felt fresh, like the AC was on, but without the coldness . Hope that makes sense. I ordered the Mango Sticky Rice for my daughter and I, plus Massaman Curry for myself and my husband. Food wasn't too hot, and the flavors stood out without being overly harsh. I ABSOLUTELY would come here again. The little candies they give you at the end are cute.
I prefer this place very much. It has a very nice ambiance. The kitcen is very tasty. the service is efficient and the team is trained. The price is satisfactory. extremely recommend.
I love the food here and the service. They do a great job. I've eaten here for years now and continue too come back.
Very good food, prompt service.
Food was ok my daughter loves spicy and I'm talking real spicy, she said it had a little kick. That means if I ate it I would die. She want to try everything. I liked that the menu said what was in each dish.
Loved my food, good prices and great service. Nice decor / atmosphere.
The food was fairly good, but portion size relied too much on the sticky rice to make up the difference. I had no real issues with the food. The biggest issue was getting our food ordered. There were several call-in and to-go orders that were taken care of before we even got water. Then it was another 15 minutes before we gave our orders. After the long wait to have our orders taken, the rest of the meal went well. The mango sticky rice at the end was very good though.I will probably go again in the future, but hopefully I won't have to wait as long. I think if you don't want the wait, it's best to call in the order before. It seems that they treat those NOT eating on-site a lot better. One other issue, when we got there, the place was empty, but only one table was clean. I'm hoping that it was just a busy night with a reduced staff, and not a usual thing.
Good price and food is good, unfortunately they don't share beer
I love this place! Definitely above average when it comes to Thai restaurants in utah! I strongly recommend getting a peanut curry from them!
Food is good and I didn't have to wait long at all to pick up my order.
It's supposed to be Thai food... I ordered a plate from the noodles section and... No noodles in my plate. The flavor is not good at all... I prefer to go to Thai village in Provo.
I really like the food here. They don't overload all their food with sugar the way so many of the Thai food restaurants in the area do. Be aware that their medium spicy is American medium. If you actually want spicy, you'll need to be really clear about that or add it at the table. Two problems that keep me from giving 5 stars: #1 is a big deal. You cannot actually be certain that their vegetarian menu selections are vegetarian. Very frequently even the "vegetarian" options are made with a chicken or beef broth base, rather than a vegetable broth base. I am not currently vegetarian, but I when I was, this would have been an absolute deal-breaker for me. #2 is that the table condiment containers are not clean. The salt shaker should not be covered with orange sticky stuff. It's not hard to fix these things, and if they do I'll add the other star.
Love this place. I have never had a bad meal here. The service isn't stellar but the food is always good and good sized portions.
Love their food so much. My only complaint is that when I ask for spicy, it's only like medium heat. I want my face melting so I'm forced to eat slower and appreciate the deliciousness more, but that's hardly even a complaint cause the food is still so good.
I thought the food here was pretty good, I would have to say some of the best that I've had here in Utah county is far as Asian food goes. The prices are good, you can sit inside and eat if you'd like although the decor is not the best.
Love this place foods amazing and the people that run it are very nice. Also they can do hot food which is hard to find in utah.
It is very nice restaurant. Food is very tasty. I ordered beef soup with rice noodles, some times I ordered number 30 from menu and my husband ordered one of the spicy food, he said it is the best Thy food. I recommend. Also this restaurant is way better than Simpl Thy restaurant in Salt lake.
wonderful food. I wish they had an online menu!!!
My husband and I really like going here. Tonight I tried something new. spicy garlic chicken and the spicy vegetables with red curry sauce. It was so good I’m going to have it again. My husband got seafood delight and a hot pot. One of his go to dishes.
I would recommend the pumpkin curry.
Service was average. Yellow curry was good, not best ever, but good. Prices were fair. 4/5 stars.
We love this restaurant. It’s a family favorite. The staff are so genuine and care about their business and customers.
Love the curry here! This time we tried the mansaman and yellow curries. The servings are big and there’s plenty of rice. We’ve tried a couple noodle dishes and the orange chicken as well and they were pretty good. This is one of two places that makes it hot when you ask for it. Twice I’ve tried the spicy chicken and it’s been so hot both times that I’ve had to throw in the towel and try again later from home. Best takeout ever! But one thing I gotta know is why is it Mekong Cafe 2? Where is number one?
I love this place. The food is great. Not a lot of seating.
I lived in Thailand for 2 years. The chicken laab he is really good.
The worst thai house we have ever been to. My husband ordered a yum gaiyang. In the menu it says (grilled chicken), but when our order came, the chicken was not grilled. When we asked the lady server why it was not grilled, instead of apologizing, she said it takes too much time to grill it. I mean, why would you put grilled chicken in the menu if you know it is not what you will serve??? She was so rude and not even sorry. We weren’t even out of the table and she started cleaning the table. She did not even wait for us to stand up from our seats. We know what and how yum gaiyang looks like and tastes like because we’ve had it many times from many other thai place. You guys need to improve not only your food but also your service. The taste of the other food we ordered was nothing special. Would not recommend.
It was just ok. Not too sweet. Nothing fantastic. Slow service would not suggest for a quick lunch bite. I got a hair in my food but didn't complain because I didn't want to ruin the meal and time for my guest I was with.
Best Thai and Lao food in South Utah County!! DELICIOUS 🥟🍜
Called at 9:10 on Saturday for take out and they then said they were closed. I asked why when it says they are open until 9:30. They said no one was coming in so they are closing early. I said I was willing to order take out, they said they were sorry. I won't go here for at least a year. I used to go there once a month at least. Expensive bad business choice. . . .Let's see if they respond to this review. . . I don't it
Great Thai restaurant! Love the Pad Thai!
Love their chicken pad thai
Went with a big group of people and ordered family style so got to try almost everything. Awesome red and yellow curry, fantastic sweet chicken, and to die for mango rice.
This place was at an freeway exit. I actually had just gotten off the freeway to grab a quick bite before continuing my trip. Glad I saw this place before getting a quick burger. Spicing was a little different than any Thai restaurant I've been to before. Plenty of food and the restaurant was clean. Service was only fair. If I was in the area, I'd try it again.
I hadnt been back in a few years but took my wife who loves thai food. I had good experiences in the past but was disappointed this time. To start we were seated by the kitchen/ bathroom when there was only one other party. When we asked for another table the waitress couldn't understand us. We decided to not let it bother us and enjoy the meal. The food was good but not the best thai. Our curry came with a small bowl of rice to share. When i asked of we could get more rice she said she would have to charge us $3.00. I understand needing to charge but $3 for one cup of rice? We shared the cup she gave us and took the leftovers home.
The yellow curry is delicious! 👍 Pricing is good.
Food is pretty good, and you get a lot of it. I'm not sure if whoever was helping me was having a bad day or what, but I wouldn't describe her as having "friendly customer service".
Great food, friendly service, would recommend and have to friends.
A small, simple Thai restaurant. I enjoy their curry, and kids like the chicken noodle soup.
Best Thai food in Springville
Big portions, small prices, tasty food! I got the Pad King and Pao Pad Graprow during lunch. For less than $20, I was full with a take home box. I eat a TON, so this is saying something. I love Thai food and have been to several thai restaurants. This is definitely top 3. Service wasn't loud or outgoing. It might be a turn-off to some. Cute sitting booths. And the mints they give you are peppermint, not spearmint, so I appreciated that. Wish I wasn't moving, I'd definitely come again.
It wasn't very good. Our chicken tasted undercooked and we were sat in a corner where we were ignored for quite awhile. If you want really good Thai go to Bangkok Grill in Orem!
It has very good food, and very authentic. My dad goes there to practice speaking Thai every now and then. Very friendly service, and each plate has a TON of food!
Pretty okay, the food is very dry and doesn't have much flavor. The workers are very nice though.
Not the best tasting food. It used to be better however the meals that 4 of us got were all a little soggy and flavorless. We were all disappointed because this place used to be better.
One of my family's favorite place to go for Thai cuisine.
Love me some Mekong!! Love coming here for a cheap lunch with my Mom! The cute waiter is almost always the same and she is very fast and kind. Best food items: Pineapple Curry, Chicken Pad Thai, Steam Fried Dumplings, Vegetable Spring Rolls, and MANGO COCONUT STICKY RICE! I have been to MANY Thai food places, and Mekong has the very best Mango Sticky Rice for Dessert at the best price too!
Good, real food. Low prices. Friendly staff. Delicious! Their chef was the California Thai chef of the year before opening here in Utah.
Always love Mekong Cafe 2! Always love their pineapple curry!
Great Thia food in Springville! They seated us quickly, the waitress was sweet and the food portions were pretty big - bigger than what most places service. She accommodated my husband and made the food extra spicy for him. Price per plate was good. I will definitely be going back!!
It was our first time eating there. The waitress was very helpful with descriptions and suggestions for dishes. It was delicious.
